I write all wedding ceremonies in “script” form, so that it is simple for your Wedding Planner or friend to direct what happens when, & by whom. This is intentional, so that I am not truly “needed” at your rehearsal. Therefore, your wedding rehearsal is not included in the cost of your wedding package.
However, about 25% of the couples I work with like to have me at the rehearsal as an emotional comfort & insurance policy—which I consider a great honor. However, since I do not have to be present, & because I’ll be functioning as both Officiant & Wedding Director, I charge an additional $150 to conduct your rehearsal—which is far less than the cost of a Wedding Director.
If you want me to conduct your rehearsal, I will do everything possible to schedule it as you wish. However, if I have another wedding ceremony to perform at the time you’d like to schedule, that ceremony will take precedence, & we’ll just do our best to hold your rehearsal at a time that works for everyone!
